Claude API without code: replies, summaries and image analysis

You can use the Claude API without code in nana800 with one block: paste your Anthropic key, choose a Claude model and write the task with data from a lead, an email or a message. Claude answers a text prompt, describes an image by link or compares two images. Each block run costs $0.002 in nana800, and Anthropic bills the tokens to your own account at its prices.

How to set it up

    Get an Anthropic API key

    In the Anthropic console open API Keys and click Create Key. The key starts with sk-ant-api03-. Top up your Anthropic account: without a positive balance Claude will not answer.

    Create a scheme and add a trigger

    Create a scheme in the builder and choose what starts it: Telegram message from user to bot for a bot, webhook for website forms, or button to run it by hand and test.

    Add the Claude AI request block

    Choose the mode, paste the key into the Claude API key field and pick a model. In the prompt field write the task and insert data from the trigger. Use the system instruction to set the role, for example: you are a polite support assistant, answer briefly and to the point.

    Give image links when needed

    In IMAGE_ANALYSIS and IMAGE_COMPARISON modes add a link to the image, and to the second one for a comparison. JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP work, from an https:// link that opens without a login.

    Pass the answer on

    Add a block that delivers the result: Telegram message send, send email message or google sheet record. The answer text is in text_response.

    Turn the scheme on and test it

    Turn the scheme on, press the button trigger and check the answer in the run history of the scheme. The button itself is free. If it looks right, keep the scheme on. While the scheme is on, it costs $0.0042 per hour.

Frequently asked questions

A block run costs $0.002 whatever the answer length. Anthropic counts the Claude tokens separately and charges them to your Anthropic account. An enabled scheme costs $0.0042 per hour. Your nana800 balance is topped up to $3.50 for free every month, no card needed. A scheme kept on around the clock for a month spends most of that on scheme hours.

In the Anthropic console: API Keys, then Create Key. Paste it into the Claude API key field, or keep it in the project variables and insert it from there. Your Anthropic account needs a positive balance for requests to work.

claude-sonnet-5-5 is the default and fits most tasks. Use claude-opus-5-5 for complex work, claude-haiku-5-5 is the fastest and cheapest, and claude-fable-5-1 is the most capable and the most expensive. If an old scheme names a model Anthropic has retired, the block uses claude-sonnet-5-5.

The max answer length also covers the internal reasoning of the model. The default is 16000 tokens, and going below 4000 is not a good idea. If the answer does not fit, Claude returns what it managed to write, and stop_reason is max_tokens.

No, the Claude block only reads images: it describes one or compares two. To create an image from a description, use the OpenAI block in IMAGE_GENERATION mode or YandexART.
