    Create a bot with @BotFather using /newbot and copy the token. Add the bot to your channel as an admin allowed to post messages. For a public channel its @name is enough. For a private one get the ID from @getmyid_bot, it starts with -100.

    In your OpenAI account open API keys, click Create new secret key and copy the key that starts with sk-. Add funds to the OpenAI account: with an empty balance ChatGPT will not answer, and the block returns the reason.

    Create a scheme and add the time internal schedule trigger. Pick the hour, the minute and your time zone, and a day of the week if you do not post daily. With no hour selected the scheme runs every hour, so always set the hour.

    Add the ChatGPT request

    Add the Open AI request block in TEXT_COMPLETION mode and paste the key. Describe the channel, tone and post format in the system instruction and give the topic in the prompt. Ask for fewer than 4000 characters, because Telegram rejects longer messages.

    Add publishing to the channel

    Add the Telegram message send block, paste the bot token and the channel name or ID. Put the ChatGPT answer from the text_response field into the message text and pick the plain_text format, so a stray asterisk does not break the message.

    Turn the scheme on and test it

    Add the button trigger, turn the scheme on and press the button: the post appears in the channel right away. If it does not, open the block results to see the answer from OpenAI or Telegram. Keep the scheme on. The schedule only works while the scheme is on, which costs $0.0042 per hour.
