Pipedrive integration without code: persons, deals, activities and notes

A Pipedrive integration in nana800 takes no code: one block creates, updates, reads and searches persons, deals, organizations and activities, and adds notes. To connect it you need only your personal API token from the Pipedrive settings. Every request to Pipedrive costs $0.002, and your balance is topped up to $3.50 for free every month.

  • Search persons, deals and organizations by a word: name, title, email or phone
  • Update a deal by ID: stage, open, won or lost status, value and expected close date
  • Add activities such as calls, meetings and tasks with a date, time and duration, linked to a deal and a person
  • Add notes to deals, persons and organizations and get the list of notes
  • Get up to 1000 records per run filtered by owner, pipeline, stage, status and update date

Blocks in the builder

  • Pipedrive request

    Action · $0.002 per run

Creates, updates, reads, lists and searches persons, deals and organizations, works with activities, adds notes and lists them. Returns the new record ID, the record itself or the list of records found.

How to set it up

  1. 1

    Copy your Pipedrive API token

In Pipedrive click the account name in the top right corner, choose Company settings, then Personal preferences and the API tab. Copy the token: it is the key nana800 uses to work with your data. If there is no API tab, the account admin has to turn it on.

  2. 2

    Add a trigger for leads

Create a scheme in the builder and add the webhook trigger: choose the POST method and set a path such as /lead. Your website form or another service sends the lead to the address of this webhook, and the scheme starts with its data.

  3. 3

    Create a person

Add the Pipedrive block, choose the create_person operation and paste the token. Put the name, email and phone from the lead into their fields. You can leave the company domain empty: requests then go to the common Pipedrive address.

  4. 4

Create a deal for the person

Add a second Pipedrive block with the create_deal operation and the same token. Enter the deal title, value and currency, and put the ID returned by the first block into the person ID field. You can pick the pipeline by the numeric ID from its address in Pipedrive.

  5. 5

Turn the scheme on and test it with a button

Add the button trigger, type a test name and phone for now, turn the scheme on and press the button. A person and a deal appear in Pipedrive. The button itself is free. You pay only for the two Pipedrive requests.

  6. 6

    Keep the scheme on

Put the lead data back and keep the scheme on. Every website lead now becomes a person with a deal in Pipedrive. While the scheme is on, it costs $0.0042 per hour.

Frequently asked questions

Every request to Pipedrive costs $0.002: a person plus a deal makes two requests. An enabled scheme costs $0.0042 per hour. Your balance is topped up to $3.50 for free every month, no card needed. A scheme kept on around the clock for a month spends most of that on scheme hours.

In Pipedrive: account name in the top right corner, Company settings, Personal preferences, API tab. The token gives access to your data with the rights of your user, so keep it private. nana800 hides it in logs and scheme exports.

nana800 has no Pipedrive trigger. Events arrive only through the webhooks of Pipedrive itself: in its settings create a webhook for the event you need and enter the address of the webhook trigger. The other option is a schedule trigger with the list_deals operation filtered by update date.

A custom field key is a 40 character string shown in Company settings, Data fields. Pass it in the extra fields (JSON) field. In lists and search results custom fields come back only if you name them in the extra query parameters.

Pipedrive stores activity time in UTC. Convert your local time to UTC first: for Moscow subtract 3 hours, so a meeting at 15:30 Moscow time goes in as 12:30.

No. For everyday tasks the block is set up with simple fields: operation, token, name, value, record ID. JSON is needed only for custom fields and rare parameters, and you do not need a server.
