Redis integration: write, read and expire keys without code
The Redis integration in nana800 writes, reads, deletes and finds keys in your Redis right from a scheme, with no code. This way a scheme remembers where a bot conversation stopped, never handles the same order twice and keeps temporary codes for as long as you need. Each operation costs $0.001, and your balance is topped up to $3.50 for free every month.
Build it in the builder- Block run: $0.001
- Free every month: $3.50
- No card needed
What you can do
- Remember data between scheme runs: the step of a bot conversation, the last order of a customer, settings
- Avoid handling the same thing twice: check if a key with the order number exists before doing anything
- Keep temporary data with an expiry time in seconds, such as a code for 10 minutes or a service answer for an hour
- See how many seconds a key has left and extend it
- Find keys by pattern, such as all user:* keys, up to 10,000 per run without slowing the server down
- Work with Upstash, Redis Cloud, Yandex Cloud, Timeweb or your own server, with or without TLS
Blocks in the builder
Redis request
Action · $0.001 per run
Pick one of seven actions: get reads a value, set writes it with an expiry time, delete removes a key, exists checks it, expire sets the expiry, ttl shows the time left, keys finds keys by pattern.
How to set it up
- 1
Prepare your Redis server
Take the host, port and password from your Redis panel. A cloud Redis or your own server works if it is reachable from the internet: the block refuses localhost and private network addresses. A username is needed only if the server has separate ACL users.
- 2
Create a scheme and add a trigger
Create a scheme in the builder and add the trigger that brings the data: a webhook for website leads, a message to a Telegram bot or a schedule. For the first test the button trigger is enough, it starts the scheme by hand.
- 3
Connect the Redis block
Add the Redis block. Paste the server address, you can use a full one like rediss://host:6380 and the port and encryption are taken from it. Enter the password. For Upstash, Redis Cloud and Yandex Cloud set the TLS field to enabled.
- 4
Choose the action and the key
Choose an action, for example set, and enter the key: usually text with an order or chat number from the trigger, like order_ followed by the number. For set enter the value and the expiry in seconds: 3600 is an hour, 86400 a day, 0 keeps the key forever.
- 5
Turn the scheme on and test it
Turn the scheme on, press the button trigger and open the block result: get puts the value into result_value, exists answers in exists, and error_message holds the Redis answer if something went wrong. When it works, keep the scheme on. While it is on, it costs $0.0042 per hour.
