YooKassa payment notifications in Telegram without code

YooKassa payment notifications in Telegram work in nana800 through HTTP notifications: YooKassa itself sends the payment data to the webhook address of your scheme, and the bot messages you or your team group right away. You need a bot from @BotFather and access to your YooKassa account, with no shop keys and no server. One notification is two runs at the basic block price.

What you can automate

  • Get a Telegram message for every successful payment: amount, order description and payment ID
  • Hear about canceled payments and refunds: tick these events in the YooKassa notification settings
  • Flag large payments: the free condition block lets through only payments above the amount you set
  • See who paid a link made in nana800: payments created by the YooKassa block carry the customer email in metadata
  • Close the payment loop in a Telegram bot: one scheme creates the payment link, another tells you that the money came

How to set it up

  1. 1

Create a scheme with a webhook

Create a scheme in the builder and add the webhook trigger with the POST method and a path such as /yookassa. Turn the scheme on: a disabled scheme answers webhooks with an error. Press the API button in the builder and copy the webhook address.

  2. 2

Enter the address in your YooKassa account

An HTTP notification is a request YooKassa sends by itself when something happens to a payment. In your YooKassa account open the HTTP notification settings in the integration section, paste the webhook address and tick the events: payment.succeeded for a paid order, payment.canceled for a canceled payment, refund.succeeded for a refund.

  3. 3

    See what YooKassa sends

Make a payment, a YooKassa test shop is the easiest way, and open the run history of the scheme. The trigger body holds event with the event name and object with the payment: id is the payment ID, amount.value the amount, amount.currency the currency, description the description and metadata the extra payment data.

  4. 4

Add the Telegram message send block

Paste the bot token from @BotFather and the chat ID: your own from @getmyid_bot or the ID of a group the bot was added to. Write a text such as "New payment" and insert the amount, description and payment ID from the trigger. The plain_text format is safer for descriptions with any characters.

  5. 5

Send only the events you need

If you ticked several events, put the free condition block before Telegram: event equals payment.succeeded. The same block can skip small amounts. Keep the scheme on. While it is on, it costs $0.0042 per hour.

Pricing

Frequently asked questions

One notification is a webhook trigger run and a Telegram send, both at the basic block price ($1 per 1,000 runs). The condition block is free. To catch every payment the scheme stays on all the time, which is $0.0042 per hour. Your balance is topped up to $3.50 for free every month, and most of it goes to scheme hours. Only YooKassa takes a fee from payments.

Yes, if the website creates payments through the YooKassa API, for example with a payment module: HTTP notifications cover the payments of the shop, no matter who created them. The money still goes to your YooKassa shop, nana800 receives only the payment data.

A YooKassa shop has one HTTP notification address in the account. If the payment module of your website already uses it, do not replace it, or the website stops seeing payments. In that case ask your website developer to forward each notification to the nana800 webhook address as well.

nana800 webhooks are public: anyone who knows the address can send a request, and nana800 does not check that it came from YooKassa. Keep the address private and add a long random set of letters and digits to the webhook path. If a notification releases goods or access, confirm the payment in your YooKassa account.

When the scheme finishes, nana800 answers with code 200 and YooKassa treats the notification as delivered. If the scheme is off or the address in the account does not match the webhook address, YooKassa gets an error and no Telegram message is sent. YooKassa sends undelivered notifications again, so some may still arrive after you turn the scheme on.
