VK autoposting and community messages without code

VK autoposting without code in nana800 is done by the VK block: it publishes posts with text and up to 10 photos on a community or personal wall and sends private messages as a community. Messages need only a community key, while wall posts need a VK user key with the wall and photos rights. Each block run costs $0.002, and your balance is topped up to $3.50 for free every month.

What you can do

  • Publish posts on a community wall as the community: text, up to 10 photos by link and one website link
  • Schedule posts so they go live at the right time
  • Send private messages as the community to people who wrote to it or allowed messages, and to group chats
  • Attach photos by link to a message, reply to a specific message and add buttons
  • Upload images to VK in advance and reuse the ready attachments in the next blocks of the scheme
  • Avoid duplicates: if a request repeats after a network failure, no second post or message appears

Four operations: wall_post publishes a wall post, send_message sends a private message, upload_wall_photo and upload_message_photo upload photos by link. The result holds the post link or the message ID.

How to set it up

  1. 1

Get a community key for messages

Open the community, then Manage - API usage - Access tokens - Create token, and tick the community messages and photos rights. This key does not expire. Make sure community messages are turned on in the community settings.

  2. 2

Get a user key for the wall

For wall posts the VK documentation names a user key with the wall and photos rights. VK grants these rights to an app on request to its developer support. You can try a community key first: if VK answers with error 27 or 15, you need a user key.

  3. 3

Create a scheme and a trigger

Create a scheme in the builder. For autoposting from a blog use the RSS feed new item trigger, for posts on a schedule, for example every day at 10:00, the time internal trigger, and for the first test the button trigger that starts the scheme by hand.

  4. 4

    Set up the VK block

Add the block, paste the key and pick the wall_post operation. Enter the community ID with a minus as the wall ID, for example -123456789, and leave posting as the community set to true. Write the text and add photo links, one per line. For a message pick send_message and set the recipient ID.

  5. 5

Turn the scheme on and test it

Turn the scheme on and press the button in the button trigger. The block result shows a link to the new post, and if VK refused, the error_message field holds the VK error code and text. Once it works, keep the scheme on. While it is on, it costs $0.0042 per hour.
