Scheduled automation: timers, exact time and delays

Scheduled runs in nana800 start your scheme at the right time: every minute, every hour, every day at 9:00, on chosen weekdays or once on a set date. You pick the time and time zone in the block fields, with no server and no cron. Each timer or delay run costs $0.001-$0.002, and your balance is topped up to $3.50 for free every month.

What you can do

  • Send reports, reminders and summaries to Telegram or email every day at the same time
  • Check a website, an API or prices every minute or every hour and report problems
  • Run a scheme only on the days you need: by day of the month, by month or by weekday
  • Run a scheme once at a set date and time
  • Pause inside a scheme: wait 10 minutes or 2 hours and go on, for example to remind a customer about a payment
  • Choose a time zone for each timer, Moscow time is the default

Blocks in the builder

  • Repeating timer

    Trigger · $0.001 per run

Starts the scheme regularly. Fields: second, minute, hour, day of month, month, weekday and time zone. Every field except seconds takes a specific value or "*", meaning every. The most frequent run is once a minute.

  • Run at an exact time

    Trigger · $0.001 per run

Two modes. CRON_SELECT repeats runs using the same fields as the timer. ISO_STRING starts the scheme once at the given moment, for example 2026-03-01T09:00:00+03:00.

  • Delay

    Action · $0.002 per run

Pauses a running scheme for the given time and then hands over to the next block. Units: milliseconds, seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months. The number can come from earlier blocks.

How to set it up

  1. 1

Create a scheme and add a timer

Create a scheme in the builder and add the time internal trigger for repeating runs. If the scheme has to run once on a specific date, use wait for exact time instead.

  2. 2

    Choose when it runs

Fill in the timer fields. To run every day at 9:00, choose second 0, minute 0, hour 9 and leave "*" in the other fields. Check the time zone: Moscow is the default.

  3. 3

    Add the actions

Connect the blocks to run: request to check a website or fetch data, Telegram message send to post a report to a chat. If you need a pause between actions, add the wait for time period block and choose the unit and number.

  4. 4

Turn the scheme on and test it with a button

Add the button trigger and connect it to the same first block as the timer. Turn the scheme on, press the button and check that the actions ran, without waiting for the scheduled time. The button itself is free.

  5. 5

    Keep the scheme on

The timer works only while the scheme is on. An enabled scheme costs $0.0042 per hour, and each timer run is charged separately.

Frequently asked questions

A timer run costs $1 per 1,000 runs, and the wait for time period delay costs twice as much. An enabled scheme costs $0.0042 per hour, and a scheme with a timer stays on all the time, so most of the free $3.50 a month goes to its hours. A timer every minute makes about 43,000 runs a month, every hour about 720, once a day 30.

Not with one timer: the minute field takes a single value or "*", which means every minute. To run every 15 minutes, add four timers set to minutes 0, 15, 30 and 45 and connect them all to the same block.

Add the wait for exact time trigger, choose ISO_STRING as the setup method and enter the date and time, for example 2026-03-01T09:00:00+03:00. The last part is the time zone, +03:00 is Moscow. The scheme must be on by that moment.

The one chosen in the time zone field of the block. Moscow is the default, and the list has all other zones too. In ISO_STRING mode the zone is written right in the time string.

A timer starts the scheme from the beginning. The wait for time period delay sits inside a scheme that is already running: for example, after a lead it waits 30 minutes and sends the customer a reminder. The delay lives in server memory, so a server restart, for example during an update, stops the delays running at that moment. For reminders days later, a daily timer that checks a list, for example in a sheet, is more reliable.

No. You choose the time in the block fields, and the nana800 server starts the scheme. Your computer can be off: the scheme runs as long as it is turned on in nana800.
